Description

A goanna searching for leftovers around camp, attracted by the smell of bacon. The goannas here are used to campers and come out as soon as everyone leavs or when the smell of food motivates them. Goannas are very efficient scavengers as well as active hunters.

Another great photo here. It is such a shame that mankind has encroached on the wild habitats so much. I just hope these guys don't ever end up as steak for someone who decides to try and see if they are.
