Developing the concept further by colouring the line drawing - sometimes a good looking line drawing turns out to have serious errors that are not apparent until it is coloured - better to correct mistakes at this stage than discover a serious error in the final work.

J'nae is a major character in "The Healer" and the main character in "The Warrior Queen," she is the principle cause of the books coming into existence in the first place.
The loss of her arm only served to make J'nae determined to be a better Guardian/warrioress than before, the steel replacement that allows her to still use her favourite weapon, her lion spear, is nearly as lethal as her kopis (short, double curved sword). Her most lethal weapon is herself, few people can match her in unarmed combat.
